"Ideal for Thames Path walkers with a splendid garden overlooking the start of the navigable Thames. Chances are you'll get here early after the relatively short walk from Cricklade, so enjoy the bar and food offerings in the spacious pub building. The room was a comfortable twin with everything you need for an overnight stay, while being across the car park from the pub itself, so noise was not a problem. If you're thinking of making an early start in the morning for the longer stage to Newbridge, better to get a bacon roll from Budgens on the High Street, as breakfast is from 9am."

"The room was clean & comfortable, & the bed was excellent. The breakfast is always very good, with a wide range of things to choose from, with some lovely healthy options, like seeds and dried fruit to add to the muesli. "

"This hotel is comfortable and quiet. About a miles walk from the center of the city, but you have options to walk along the city streets or the Oxford Park paths. Breakfast was good and a decent price and it was nice to have a restaurant on site. The room was very comfortable. It was nice to have a couch in the room that was comfortable and made it easy to get work done. The coffee and tea station was also a nice touch, they refilled with biscuits every day too! We were very comfortable!"
