"This place must have been magnificent in the 80s. It's still pretty cool but little things were gross, like the carpeting in the elevators. The amenities are outstanding and lovely for families with children of all ages. It was just me and my husband so we really enjoyed the adults only pool and hot tub area. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the alphorn concert was very enjoyable. We had a VIP suite, this was spontaneous trip and the VIP had the only king bed available....and the bathroom tile with the glass block wall was gorgeous. Silly, but I really loved it. Great in-suite jetted tub, two televisions, little fridge, real wood fireplace, comfy bed and bedding, lots of hooks for hanging stuff like towels, ample bathroom counter space, short on electrical outlets, this was built in the 80s, so they added clocks with USB charging etc. but one thing that drove me nuts was the television. They have some type of hotel proprietary system and no way to access the actual TV controls so I was unable to adjust the brightness or change inputs. I always travel with my fire stick and I was able to use it easily because I'm a geek and unplugged the "cable" box on HDMI 1 but the brightness of the TV made me sad lol! Anyway,we highly recommend the Enzian. There's so much more... Indoor golf simulator, movie nights, popcorn, hot chocolate, flavored water all over the place, indoor basketball courts, indoor pool, indoor hot tub...."
