"One of the worst hotels I have stayed at. Took a shower and the tub filled up, would not drain. Called down no help whatsoever, told us the housekeeper would cone up when they got in sometime this morning. Person at front desk refused manager name and hid her name tag. Let's talk about one of the worst breakfast in the world. Sausages were like hockey pucks, eggs were disgusting and nothing else even came close to edible. A refund would be the proper thing."

"As a place to crash while traveling, it's fine. Basically Hilton took some decrepit old hotel, slapped a coat of paint on and rebranded it "spark". It's really fine, but you know, it's still a bit of a pig with some lipstick on it. You can see the old cracks and dirt under the paint, and the place still smells old. Having said that, it was exactly what we needed, and well worth it. It may have looked and smelled old, but it was clean and quiet and we slept very well before moving on. I wouldn't spend my honeymoon here, but that's not what it's for. If you are passing through Wytheville and you just need a place to crash, you can't get better than this for the price."

"Breakfast restaurant CLOSED. Pool CLOSED. Soda machine BROKEN, OUT OF SERVICE. Gave us a room that had not been cleaned or restocked...then moved us to another room that they "just finished"... worse than the last one. Staff was pleasant, which must be difficult, trying to sell a turd, but that was literally the only redeeming quality. We left and went down the road. Manager was going to refund yesterday...will see if I get it."

"Place was clean, but in a medical facility kind of way. Also, woke up to no hot water. Front desk acknowledged no hot water in the kitchen either. Another said it must be that everyone was using hot water at once. I asked if showers by guests at 7:00 am on a weekday was not something they expected. Asked for a credit and the front desk took my number promising to call back. Never did. Emails unanswered. Seems as though this brand is independently owned and managed. I will stay away in the future."
