"Beautiful property, we traveled with family and our puppy who enjoyed running in the garden. Me and my partner stayed in the Exclusive Cabin with a queen bed, our only problem with it was the accesible open shower as it flooded the bathroom every time we used it. "A fantastic stay in Ambrose. The hotel is beautiful - lovely little pool and a wonderful terrace to have a meal in the evening. All staff friendly and exceptionally helpful. Wonderful view of the chateau from our room. Perfectly located in the heart of the town, five minutes walk from the river. Highly recommended."

"We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."
