"We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately. "We had a wonderful stay at The Vine House. It is so beautiful, the location is just gorgeous, the views are absolutely to die for from the rooms and terrace and it is the most peaceful place to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend a room with a balcony so you can sit and enjoy the surroundings. This is really more of a B&B than a fully equipped hotel as there aren't lots of facilities which we knew beforehand. The restaurant was delicious (although the portions a little small for the price perhaps) and pool setting beautiful (although it wasn't open during our stay). Staff were lovely and the tour of the vineyards was a lovely touch. Overall we would absolutely recommend this gorgeous spot "

"We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly. The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The botton 2/3 rds are translucent and upper 1/3 clear. If a light is turned on in bathroom bedroom is lit up as well . Also the obvious privacy issues. Other than the the room , hotel , staff, bar and restaurant are great."
