Amazing staff building lacked maintenance pealing paint leeky aircon

We were looking for a place to stay for a quick visit to Tacloban for a friend's wedding around the Palo area. Our key concern was the proximity since we didn't want to book anywhere too far. Fan's was a great find. They had a nice and clean place, accommodating staff, and was close to a bunch of places to see, food to sample, and not as much traffic as the city's main roads.

Other than the unannounced construction that’s causing a bit of noise in the morning, had a good time staying in this hotel. Staff are helpful, room is great. I had a spacious and pleasantly decorated one.

Was happy to stay there, bed was nice, would stay again, although Tacloban shuts down by 8pm, not exactly a tourist haven, not sure I need to visit Tacloban again.

Beautiful gardens and location with jungle mountains in the background. There is a pool on the way which will be a real bonus. The host retired Aussie Trevor and wife Jessa really make you feel like you're at home,while Ramil who apart from being a jack of all trades is a fantastic cook and takes care of any requests you may have. Jupiter's is a fun bar to hang out at night and sing a song if your keen.

The place is excellent.

The only real downfall to this property was the availability of food sources. Had we stayed more than one night it wouldn't have been an issue. We ordered delivery and the delivery was prompt. Super quiet and relaxing.
