The location and ocean view were exactly what I wanted. However not having a restaurant or some type of an upscale coffee shop was very disappointing and unexpected. The Asbury Hotel
A lovely modern hotel with clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. A short walk from the boardwalk and bars and restaurants but just set back far enoughso that it is in a quiet location. Would definitely book there again if I return to Asbury Park.

HC-127 Beach Haus
The building is run down and disgusting. The beds are not beds, they are roll-outs. The place looks nothing like the photos shown. However, the manager there was nice enough to tell me that I can get a refund.
