"I had a nice clean spacious room on the 5th floor which overlooked Hoe Park. The king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and there was a nice size TV. I kept hearing frequent thump sounds that I found VERY annoying but couldn’t work out where it was coming from. On one night there was a family in the adjoining room making a lot of noise. The doors are very clunky which again I found annoying, and the flimsy ‘Do not disturb’ door hangers kept falling off the door handle which was annoying and resulted in my room being missed for room service as I must have put it back on the wrong way. "

Every single person was warm, welcoming and went above and beyond. The location is simply breathtaking. Set in such a beautiful and peaceful place, it feels like something out of another world. Waking up to the sea and the stunning surroundings is something I will never forget. Port Gaverne is more than just somewhere to stay.
