A nice place to stop between Mývatn, Godafoss and Husavik. The room was comfortable with big windows ( second floor) good hot water and very nice breakfast.

This location was very quiet and the view was beautiful. The room was spacious and so clean. I was disappointed I could not spend another night and just take in the peacefulness of the surroundings.

Only complain was over heated room . The owner kindly arranged with us for a late check in at 10:30 . They were courteous. And the chef was very friendly

I loved the room, the peacefulness of the location, access to a long outdoor hot tub with views of the Aurora Borealis. Sleeping quarters also had shared fridge, tea, coffee, etc. The main building with lobby, lounge & dining area was well laid out.

Great place!

This place was so clean and comfortable for our family of four. The room was spacious. Located on a farmland with scenic views and a hot tub to enjoy. Breakfast was great, with good selection. There was some eggs and ham, cold cut meats, fresh pancakes - which were my favorite topped with an apple (I think) marmalade. Highly recommend!

Very nice guesthouse close to the Ring Road. Super spacious room with a clean private restroom, quiet, and easy parking. Large and delicious breakfast buffet, and the host and other employees were very warm and friendly. One note -- We arrived rather late after 10pm (not planned), and we were fortunate that another couple was checking in at the same time. In general, you'd need to call a number to have the host open the reception and check you in, which isn't possible without a SIM card and/or WiFi. So if there's a chance you may check in on the later side, I'd recommend informing the property and updating them of your ETA as you get closer when you have WiFi. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The host was lovely and welcoming. The room was comfortable and great for 3 people. The hot tub cement and heated by geothermal was incredible. it was very clean, well maintained, everything worked. It was more like a farm family hotel. The surroundings were picturesque. Being able to go see their horses was magical. Breakfast was home made and filling, you want for nothing here! Totally recommend!
