"It was a lovely, authentic hotel, with marvellous staff and a fantastic breakfast which was buffet and ala carte.
The staff were very helpful and on our last day they arranged for a taxi to pick us up at 6:30 a.m. and they had packed a breakfast for us to take as the dining room did not open until 7:30. That was very thoughtful of them.
The location is excellent."
"Well located hotel with lots of street parking available outside, and a covered garage across the road. It's a 10 minute walk to the archeological park and/or towards Ortigia - lots of great coffee places and ice cream stops just nearby. All comms was via WhatsApp and reception is largely unattended - but this worked out fineRoom was spacious and comfortable with a small kitchen unit (but no kettle!). Bathroom was a really good size, very modern and clean. You did get quite a bit of street noise in the evening and early morning (my room was above the main entrance door) and doors banging/conversations in the hallway. A good base for exploring Siracusa - the ease of parking was the definite highlight."
"Very nice property and room. Ours was an individual cottage, very quiet. Close proximity to the Amphitheater, about a 25 minute walk to the Island. Parking was a bit inconvenient, there are only a few parking spots on the property which we did not know to reserve in advance. We were a 10 minute walk from the street parking recommended."
"This is a fabulous old style hotel brought up to date in a really good location for Ortigia. The rooftop restaurant and terrace have a beautiful view and breakfast has a very large choice and is very good. The staff are extremely attentive and all seem to have the freedom to chat to guests like human beings and not "5 star robots". A welcome change."
"Wow, what a fantastic hotel. Super location for the Archeological Park & Museum. Rooms and amenities were great, the pool and sundeck perfect for a drink. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was spectacular, everything you could want for a Sicilian breakfast. Rooms were modern and comfortable definitely a value for the price. "
