"We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "Spacious and clean private space with excellent air conditioning. A nice outdoor area, with a beautiful resident white cat (please consider giving her some treats, she's so lovely!) Quiet and peaceful setting behind a bigger hotel. A very nice shower with waterfall and detachable heads. The only issue was the WiFi not reaching the property, but this probably helped me enjoy the local area more. "Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. "

"The hotel is stunning, all white with a subtle grandeur, perfectly located on the Lassi strip, conveniently positioned to bars and restaurants. The receptionist (South African not New Zealand) makes things happen, excels in her role, professional from the outset. Our room overlooked the sea and pool …it was the perfect stay for our final night of our Kefalonia adventure…thank you Nick & Caz."

"The strengths of this resort are: 1. the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. 2. The grounds where beautiful and well maintained. 3. The pool is large, clean and kept at a refreshing temperature. 4. The view over the Mediterranean Sea is spectacular especially the sunset. 5. There is a large selection of sunbeds and lounging chairs with adequate choice of shade/sun exposure. Here are some drawbacks: 1. The resort is up a 1 km steep hill that is difficult to walk down and impossible to walk up in the hot summer weather. Some kind of shuttle would be a bonus. 2. No water is provided despite there being a fridge in the room and either you need to buy some at a higher cost from the pool bar or need to buy some regularly from a shop in Lassi village. 3. No shampoo or conditioner in the rooms. 4. The WiFi is slow. 5. The tvs in the rooms are not connected and don’t work. 6. Breakfast is good but lacks fresh fruit. 7. The snack bar restaurant at the pool (the only restaurant) is tasty but expensive. We overall enjoyed our stay and the fantastic staff made up for the shortcomings of this facility."

"The staff were fabulous and hotel was in a great location. Room was very small and such low beds which made it very difficult to get in and out of and the wooden frame jutted out so constantly hitting your ankles! Same with the balcony furniture for getting in and out of . So low especially for older people . No kettle in room either which was disappointing."

"My daughters and I had an outstanding stay at Aenos Hotel and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Kefalonia. The hospitality was exceptional. The managers, front desk team, housekeeping staff, and breakfast staff were all incredibly warm, professional, and attentive. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome, and their kindness and willingness to help made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is spotless, with clean, cool, modern, and very comfortable rooms. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and the Wi-Fi was fast, reliable, and worked perfectly throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. There was something for everyone, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. The location is another major highlight. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Argostoli’s main square, just steps away from numerous restaurants, cafés, shops, and the waterfront. Everything you need is within easy walking distance. The hotel also offers convenient laundry and ironing services, which are especially helpful for longer stays. What truly sets Aenos Hotel apart is its people. The outstanding customer service, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail made us feel at home throughout our visit. Our daughters and I had a wonderful experience, and we would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Kefalonia. Thank you to the entire Aenos Hotel team for making our vacation so memorable"

"We spent a wonderful week at Oskars Apartments in Lassi, Kefalonia, from 12 June. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by stunning gardens filled with lemon, olive and peach trees, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The infinity pool is amazing, offering breathtaking views across the sea. We stayed in one of the loft rooms, which was fantastic. Waking up each morning to a sea view from the bed was truly special. Oskars is a family-run hotel in an excellent location, within easy reach of both Lassi and Argostoli, where you'll find a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The family who run Oskars Hotel were incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our holiday special. Their hospitality really made our stay memorable. Oskar himself still works hard every day in both the hotel and the gardens, and often brought guests small bowls of freshly picked plums from the trees, which was a lovely personal touch. The restaurant served delicious meals throughout the day, and their special iced coffees were particularly enjoyable. We would highly recommend Oskars Apartments to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Kefalonia and would happily return in the future."
