The hotel provided a clean room with the view that I requested which was perfect. Only downside was the noise of water from the toilet but so far the stay was great. I would definitely book again.
Under renovation but still a great stay. The newly remodeled rooms are extremely well appointed. Very comfortable. Sports book is small but accommodating (especially for horse players). We had a great time.
Nice hotel but was under restoration. Check-in person was very helpful when I used the kiosk, bathroom shower/tub wasn’t in good shape, nice king size bed, asked for extra pillows and in less than five minutes received them. Room was clean but there wasn’t a mini-fridge. Good for a one night stay.
This resort is very nice , the staff very friendly and helpful I had no issues at all , the room was nice and spacious adequate towels provided and excellent housekeeping service, I would definitely staying there if you’re in the Las Vegas area. Five stars !!!

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
To start, the hotel is under construction so there are parts of it that were a little off putting but understandable. The restroom in my room could’ve been a little cleaner, many the floors and walls. The rest of the room and, most importantly, the bed, were clean.
I rented a daybed and spent a day at the pool while waiting for friends to get into town. The pool area and service was great. My only disappointment was that they did not have veggie options for cold food aside from a fruit/cheese platter. The sandwich options did look nice for those who are interested. I would recommend everyone to visit the pool area here.
Enjoyed the overall hotel. Great parking, clean environment, love the Oyster Bar restaurant.
Check-in clerk was pleasant, and took time to locate a room close to elevator.
At discharge, the first clerk took time to wipe both of her eyes, and forehead with a tissue before helping me. I asked her to please clean her hands before helping me. She refused ( not verbal), but said that she would give me a paperless receipt. This practice is unsanitary, and a good way to pass germs. I checked out with the clerk next to her.

The room was very nice; clean and very comfortable also roomy. We were on the 10th floor and late night the hallway was somewhat noisy but it is Vegas! Big problem with coffee in the morning. One place to get coffee. I waited 45 minutes to get coffee - no small pots in the room. There is a convention halll within the complex-so there were a ton of kids everywhere - we were 2 adults. I think this is a family with kids hotel. Strange closure hours for the pools - like 5:30pm closed. The hotel was super busy - there was evidence of renovation, but it wasn’t a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful -

We stayed in both an old room and newly remodeled room. When using a 3rd party they will more than likely give you an old room. They only upgraded us the following night due to the construction and pipe issue in which we couldn’t use the showers due to the sludge that was coming out. As for the staff everyone was very nice and the manager did her best to make things right. The Copper Whisk and other restaurants in the hotel are very convenient. They have a movie theater and bowling alley which is fun for families.
I only spent one night at New Orleans so I didn’t really get to get into the amenities, but the casino was really nice and so are the restaurants. It’s cool that they have a movie theater & a bowling alley on site though. I bought a film on the TV and the sound didn’t sync, but the staff took it off my bill which I appreciated. The hotel is undergoing renovations so I would really recommend booking a premium room or asking for a room upgrade at the front desk. The construction does start pretty early, but I wasn’t very close to it so it wasn’t too bad. The room rates are the best you will find near the strip right now, though because of it. I think the hotel will be really a lot better off for the renovation. My room was really cute and had a lot of charging ports, a fridge that wasn’t stocked with stuff, a coffee maker and they have room service that’s really affordable. The television was really big and the shower is a walk-in. I think they could use more amenities like a face wash or something to make it sparkle, but there were lots of towels and the beds are comfortable. I had made a reservation for the oyster bar on OpenTable, but it was their first day closing an hour early. The manager came out to see me and was very nice about it. So I went to the Ondor Asian Kitchen and got Tuna Tataki and shrimp dumplings. It was very good and open late! Simply because of all the construction, I wouldn’t expect your stay to be organized, but I did have a nice time.

Disliked: Amenities
I’ve stayed at The Orleans Hotel and Casino many times over the years and regularly choose it for family trips, often booking 2–4 rooms for a full week. We love that it offers something for everyone—adults can enjoy themselves while the kids look forward to swimming and activities.
Unfortunately, this most recent stay was very disappointing. The pool was closed due to renovations, and we were not informed in advance. Since pool access is one of our main reasons for booking, this significantly impacted our trip. Had we known, we would have planned around the renovations or chosen another hotel.
Without access to key amenities, it felt like we overpaid for our stay. Additionally, one of our rooms had stained bed sheets upon arrival, and we had to contact housekeeping for replacements, which added to the frustration and inconvenience after a long day of travel.
Being charged a resort fee while the pool was unavailable felt unreasonable, as a major amenity we expected was not accessible.
We’ve always considered this hotel a reliable 4-star option for our family, but this visit felt more like a 2-star experience due to the lack of communication and reduced quality. Because of this, we are now seriously reconsidering whether we’ll return next year.
I liked there were restaurants on site. We liked the gaming. We didn’t like the room it was outdated and tub was gross. They don’t clean rooms daily and the pool closes super early
Clean newly remodeled rooms, beautiful shower. The valet service was exceptional.
All staff were wonderful and helpful.
Improved eating establishments, especially a 24 hr cafe not closing in mid afternoon. Food prices and specials need to be priced moderately like they are at the South Point which is your competition for myself and friends dollars.
The hotel/casino is pretty dated. Rooms are fine, nothing special. Check in was easy. There are a couple of restaurants that are open late which is nice. The pool area was nice and not overcrowded. I would probably not stay again.
