"We booked Rickaty Lodge due to a change in our flight details which meant an additional day in Gran Canaria. The hosts are friendly and the room very clean. We were able to get a transfer form the Lodge to our hotel in Maspalomas with one of the hosts which was very comfortable and convenient. "
"So happy with our stay at Casa León Royal. Super great service, quiet and calm - exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast buffet was really good (only thing missing was a really great coffee). We had fab weather in February (25 degrees and not a cloud in the sky) with no wind whilst it was quite strong winds down by the ocean. "Hi have to recommend. This place even if is for one night .
We stayed for two nights and was enough as we were not prepared for trekking and this is the main attraction to the area.
The pros: great spa, the restaurant team good food(make sure you book the half board option) not much around to go for dinner
And the views. Ask for room with view
The con: I think reception staff could have been trained better. The guy doing the check in was not interested at all, unlike the F&B team who were great and providing a friendly service, this was not the cas EOF reception
The hotel rooms need a bit of updating, see photo shower and hairdryer.
