Loved it here! There is good WiFi with unrestricted devices. Staff are absolutely the best - especially adults pool bar - Stavros and team. Even provided a menu in larger print. Hahaha- good communication- deffo returning . Didn’t try the lazy river - next time.
We had a really lovely time here for my husbands birthday. The staff kept great communication with me beforehand to make sure we were all set for my husbands birthday. The staff were kind, caring and attentive. The property was clean and well kept. Over all a great place for a family vacation.
We have absolutely loved our stay at Olympic lagoon. The food and drinks are amazing, the staff can’t do enough for you. The kids entertainment is on all day and the evening shows are fantastic. We also ate at the seven orchards restaurant and again the food and staff were amazing. Really recommend this hotel will definitely be returning.
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff are absolutely fantastic, the food was excellent for onsite buffet and restaurants and the hotel itself is in excellent condition.
The only minor challenge was the pool was pretty cold but then again we were there in November.
Other than that, a fantastic place to take a holiday.
Amazing hotel! Lovely rooms, everything spotlessly clean. Everybody is so friendly, helpful and attentive. Swimming pool delightful. Food in the buffet restaurant and snackeria brilliant, highly recommend the apple martinis! Would give the Cypriot restaurant a miss unless you have a strong stomach - a taster menu so you don’t get to choose what comes out.
We stayed in fisherman's village in May '24.
Great hotel, good choice of restaurants and very nice food. You can book restaurants via app ,but if there is no availability, just go to the restaurant and book it direct, they will fit you in.
Service is Outstanding.Special thanks to cleaner Elena and waiter Veronica. Both ladies work very hard and always have smile on their faces.
We definetely will go back.
Had an unfortunate start on arrival when I was told the hotel had experienced a maintenance issue and they couldn’t give me a room until the following day as there was 100% occupancy. To but a long story short, I ended up having to share with my daughter, son-in-law and two infants. We all had a sleepless night. They diid refund us the first night but I didn’t have a room until after midday the following day so I couldn’t unpack or shower. There was no management on duty to deal with the matter. It was really poor treatment by a 5 star hotel. The location of the hotel, between two noisy roads was not great. There wasn’t anywhere safe to take the kids for a walk so we were really confined to the hotel complex. Which was fine for 9 days as the pool facilities were very good. Fabulous for little ones. Food was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Beautiful hotel and resort with sprawling green trees and walkways. The staff service was absolutely impeccable from the moment of arrival until minute ofcdeparture. A drink/wet towel on arrival and 2hr extended stay with lunch was just what we needed. Dining leader R. Merlo had the most inviting smile/spirit for customers; always serving you with pleasure. My 15yr old son and I loved the open buffet and the variety of food they offered each meal. We ate breakfast and dinner there for 5 days although there was option to reserve a table at the 4 beautiful restaurants they have onsite. My very athletic teenager likes to eat and preferred the buffet variations vs set menu; although the desserts left more to be desired. I enjoyed the onsite gym; great size with everything I needed to keep fit. The only areas that were not good for us were the pools…they were ice cold end of Mar/early April. The indoor pool was a tad warmer but still cold to me. The daily activities were based on the people being in the pool so they were nonexistent. The few outside of the pool were poorly attended and not exciting as well (frisbee throw, archery table tennis) in the context of how they were being ran. Things like yoga on the lawn, dance aerobics, bingo or something could’ve been given since the water was way too cold for anyone to use. We loved the soccer and basketball court they have on ground as my son loves to play; although we didn’t know to get the balls we needed a key from the Spa room.
This is quite an amazing hotel with regards to facilities, choice of food and drink, comfort and general ambience. However there were a few things which made me question the professionalism. Firstly 2 days before my arrival i reciver an email saying that despite me booking my holiday over 6.months ago, that there was no room for me and i would be allocated a room at another hotel 7km away. I rang Cyprus to question this (from the UK) and was told reservations go home at 4pm and there was no duty manager. This is the 3rd year of attending this hotel, where i meet up with other family members who live in the Middle East. So half way for us both, so i was very stressed and upset. I had to get my daughter to intervene and luckily a few hours before my flight i had an email confirming my room was avaialable, but it was 48 hours of stress that i could have done without. Secondly, the "spa" onsite is awful. I had a pedicure, which was done in what seemed like their staff room. There was a member of staff eating her lunch and on the phone whilst all their handbags, shopping bags and food was just left on the manicure station. I wasnt asked if i wanted a drink and despite asking for the full pedicure i was just given a very bad polish. I couldnt wait to get out. Also the onsite shop, although very well equipped and lovely staff, is very tiny for the size of the hotel. And when i checked out i wasnt even asked if i had a good time or thanked for the return of the keys.
all was just excellent. The room was in the main building so all was very close : restaurants, bars, spa, indoor pool. Food and beverages were also above average . The stay couldn t be better . So far the best resort we have stayed in Cyprus.
Highly recommend the Fisherman’s Village part of the resort. Only thing that I could fault was the swimming pool was not heated so not useable in April.
The staff are soo friendly, especially Andrea (breakfast and The Greats restaurant) and Veronika (who made sure we had drinks through out the day) and the swim up rooms in Fishermans wharf were so convenient.
Most of the staff at this property are extremely rude and should not be employed in hospitality. Despite how nice the resort is I wouldn’t stay here again
Very good hotel, good food, excellent service. Not 5 star, but very good 4 star. I visited with 3 teenagers and 2 pver 65's, there was something for everyone we all had a lovely holiday
One of the best hotels I've ever staid. The service, food, cleaning, evening shows, every single detail are of a high quality. Hotel is not new built but is very good maintained. The only down side is that land view rooms are looking into hotel's technical back yard and on the highway so you'd not like to spend time on the balcony. Hotels is not a beachfront, but one of the most beautiful beaches in Ayia Napa is just 5 minutes walk away. Great hotel.
The truth about this property is that it is a good 4 star hotel. Buffet restaurant quality and selection is more 3 / 3.5 star. Asian, Cypriot and great Great restaurants very good but Asian excellent. Evening shows very good quality in good venue. As good member in family suite our room faced car park and motorway very disappointed. I would not return or recommend this hotel based on our experience. Room was not like pictures we had bunk beds in the room…. Overall pretty disappointed.
Just back from a fantastic stay at Olympic Lagoon.
What a great well run resort.
We had a Family Suite which had a King bed and twin beds in. The room facilities were really good apart from the mini bar. No idea why they couldn't pop in a few beers and some wine. However there were dressing gowns, slippers, a safe, teas and coffee, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There was excellent WiFi throughout the resort.
The food options here were really good. The buffet had such a great choice at all meals. For breakfast you could order pancakes or omelettes at your table. Apart from that a selection of most things you could think of. For lunch the sushi was lovely and we had some every day. We went to 2 of the a la cartes that you need to book in advance. We found some availability but you probably need to book these as soon as you arrive. They did offer to do it at Guest Services for us but we did it online.Captains Deck was the Cypriot restaurant and we found it a bit hit and miss. Quick service though so we didn't eat as much as we would have liked as the plates were piling up. Garibaldi's was the Italian restaurant and the food there was lovely. We had a 9.00 pm booking though and ended up rushing through our meal as there was no-one left there apart from us and the staff understandably seemed keen to close up.
The pool bar staff were absolutely amazing. They were all so efficient often taking and making 3 or 4 different orders at a time. They were also really flexible at mak
