"Durch die äußerst praktische Funktion des Online-Check-ins konnte ich erst in den Abendstunden anreisen, was bei der vorherrschenden Hitzewelle genau das Richtige war. Genau wie beim letzten Mal Ende Januar habe ich auch diesesmal das Welcome, den Service sowie das Kulinarische sehr bedürfnisorientiert und freundlich erlebt. "The breakfast was vastly over priced for what it was , breakfast was until 11am at 9.3oam there was little cheese and meat when we asked for some more there seemed to be confusion like but there is food there. £57 for bread rolls ,orange,coffee and some salami,cheese, that was 2 adults and 3 kids , unfortunatly a rip off. Still next time i know ,i would use hotel again as very good."

"I didn't have a pet with me but I saw other customers that did. They do welcome pets. The breakfast was good! 2 types of bread, ham, Swiss cheese, orange juice, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, assorted condiments, and excellent espresso, coffee, or cappuccino. The only constructive criticism I offer is I wish there was an in room Keurig or kettle for evening herbal tea. Also a vending machine in the lobby would be nice for late night snacks. We stayed in a tiny house and it was quiet and private. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Trier area. "

"We stayed here Aug 2025 to visit our cousins who live in the area. We booked through Expedia so we did not expect the best room (it seems like typically we get better rooms when booking through the hotel directly but a better rate booking through Expedia). Our room was on the first floor but was slightly above ground level. There is no AC and there were no fans. But there was a cute balcony with two seats. The room was clean. We checked-in quickly and were not offered any maps or instructions about the hotel (there is a pool but we were not told where it was although we also didn't have time to use it anyway). The location was perfect for us. We were able to walk around the lake (the Bostalsee) and drive to our cousins' houses. They do offer a few amenities although we were not told about these amenities when we checked -in (we were only told that the breakfast was $29 Euros PP if we wanted to add it.). Parking was free and easy, checkout was quick and easy and a little friendlier than check-in. We felt like this is mostly a local German vacation hotel and not as welcoming to non-German travelers. "
