Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu Budhanilkantha by IHG
6/10 Okay
"This hotel is no longer as quiet as it used to be, nor does it prioritize its guests like before. Except for Saturdays, when the hotel tends to be busier, on other days many essential services such as hot water, heating, and other facilities are not as reliable as they once were.
It feels like the hotel’s priorities have shifted; guests and tranquility are no longer at the center. This is especially disappointing, as the main reason for choosing this hotel, despite its distance from the city, was precisely its peaceful atmosphere and quality of service."
"nice hotel with relaxing vibe. its a nice place to stay to hope to see distant himalayan views (it was cloudy both days i was there though, but i still enjoyed the stay). the hotel & restaurant staff (including rebecca, pramilla, deepa and others) are wonderful with always being helpful and pleasant. restaurant food was good with many cuisine options. try to get a room on a high floor, so you are above the adjacent building for a better view. "This is the most wonderful country hotel, perfectly situated with so many amazing amenities. I swam in the heated pool in the middle of winter. I didn't have a bathing costume but could buy one at a very low price. Sham our walking guide was fantastic. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. The hotel somehow discovered it was my birthday and made birthday cake for me, and all came to sing happy birthday. That was so touching, unexpected and wonderful - thank you! My room was absolutely beautiful. I hope to return one day soon."
"Nice place with authentic Nepali design and a great view on mountains. There’s a fireplace inside the room which really cool for cold nights.
Kind and helpful stuff.
