"Booking is made on Expedia, but the you complete the registration on another site. Shower is built into a very small closet. Toilet is on the other side - in another closet. You have to straddle the toilet to use a hand basin that barely fits my hands and it's not possible to wash your face in it without splashing water all over the floor. Entrance way through to the room is in shockingly poor condition. Not the welcome one would hope to see. I would not recommend this room."

"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. Large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven and microwave, basic set of kitchen utensils and a couple of pans adequate to cook something simple. "The hotel was fantastic, staff very helpful. Breakfast was good, the room was clean and had good amenities. The location is great, I would definitely stay here again. My only gripe was the discount voucher for drinks in the bar - this was applied, but then a service fee was added to the bill which amounted to the same (10%), so it seemed a bit pointless!"
