"Interesting old hotel/farm setting. Old stone hotel building but in good condition. Arrived after dark a little before 8pm and the place was completely dark. Had a hard time finding a lobby for check in. Another guest helped us and we got someone (non-English speaking) to check us in. Our room on the third floor was modern and clean but small. "The neighborhood is lovely - quiet, with tree-lined streets and many restored Jugenstil houses - but only two blocks from a streetcar stop with quick connections to the centre of the city. I came to Halle for a special exhibit at the archaeology museum, and was pleased that the Pension was only two tram stops away."
