Wonderful hotel

A small and excellent hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. The tasty breakfast was served at your table. The dinners were also extremely good. Our room was quiet and well cleaned. There was also a very enjoyable relax area with three saunas (the hottest one 80-90 degrees).

Ski Trip

Lovely hotel with perfect, very friendly service. Very good food, tasty dinner and also breakfast, nicely served and not buffet style. Very special and relaxed atmosphere. The spa is great too. 15 min walk to downtown but there is a ski shuttle service in the morning and buses are going too.

Very Hospitable and spotlessly clean

Fantastic staff at the Der Whaldorf. Andrea especially and the super cheery breakfast staff. I don't think i have ever been in so clean a hotel either. I was looking for spec of dust and found none. Very well built hotel too. Great wood craftsmanship. All in all fantastic. Cheers from a Dad and Son.

Tasteful, tranquil and culinarily outstanding.

This small, family-run hotel is tastefully and lovingly designed and impeccably maintained. It is also located in a tranquil neighborhood just outside the thump thump of the St. Anton party scene. But the stand-out part of the experience is the dining. Michael, the co-owner along with his capable wife, Andrea, is the chef and he is worthy of a Michelin star restaurant. He locally sources the ingredients, is creative in his combinations, attentive to every detail of the presentation, and generous (to a fault) in the portions. Every dinner was a tour de force. Even breakfasts were a delight, with homemade jams, eggs to order, homemade yogurts, and much more, all which posed challenges in exercising restraint.

Beautiful modern facility & lovely hosts

The husband chef Michael and wife owners couldn't be nicer or more accommodating, attention to every detail. Quiet with beautiful views and huge terrace. More terrific food served than one could eat!

Hotel staff was very friendly. Andrea was an excellent host and her husband excellent chef! The rooms were very clean with nice views of the mountains. The rooms were large and clean with nice balcony to enjoy the views. We were offered free passes for the cable car. The four course dinner was excellent!

One of the best stays we have had.

The hotel is six years old, but it looks as if he was opened this morning, just before you enter. The owners and the staff were so nice to us, we did not want to leave. The owner, Andrea, is the chef, and the dinner is very good. Michael, his wife, spent time with us recommending tours. We had a lovely time. Go for it.

Excellent food and service

Very happy and satisfied with our ski week at der Waldhof. The food (breakfasts and 4 courses dinners) was excellent, more than plentiful, and varied. The staff including owners very service minded. Our room was large and quite. Taxi from the hotel to the lifts every morning + equipment storage at the lifts was included in the price.

Mooi en verzorgd hotel

Erg mooi hotel. Kamers erg ruim. Eigen shuttle naar de piste 's ochtends en gratis gebruik van depot. Eten was werkelijk uitmuntend. Zowel het ontbijt als diner.

Supert opphold: veldig god service, hyggelige ansatte og veldig hyggelig par som drev og eide hotellet, maten var spesielt god. Det eneste negative var at det var ganske varmt på rommene om natten,men slik er det ofte på hotell.
