"Hotel has an excellent location, it is right in front of the lighthouse. From the penthouse (at breakfast) you can see the 360 view of the city (kids loved next to the window and pointing out what they saw). Good dining options around and swimming
pool was excellent I could not get kids out of it. We used the location to travel around different location sin Devon and Cornwall it worked good. The Barcode is nearby with good entertainment and food options too. "

"Although the carpet looked a bit haggard, the room and bed were very spacious, but the lack of AC during a heatwave was.. rough. Room service hours are very limited as well sadly, but there’s plenty of options for a late night meal nearby in the city centre.
The continental breakfast was a bit lacking in terms of options, and some things we ordered (like the porridge and “heated croissants”) tasted very processed/chemical.
The
pool, gym and sauna/steam room is an amazing bonus with this hotel...

"This was a last minute booking as a stopover before our ferry the next morning. We found the place on Hotels.com and were very pleased with the accomodation on our arrival. A beautiful historic hotel, quiet and relaxing. We travelled with our two dogs and were given a courtyard room that allow dogs. Room was very clean and comfortable. Dogs were provided with beds, bowls and some foodie treats. Hotel Restaurant food very good and the spa /
pool area also good."
