" The Hotel El Arz's management does not deserve 1/5. We arrived at the hotel late. We asked for the room that we reserved and paid for through hotels.com. When we arrived at the reception, they told us they don’t accept online payments. The only thing they accept is cash. We asked to speak with the manager. "For the price I paid, 4/5 is fair. The room was spacious and elegant with a view across the sea. The heating worked fine and there were plenty of windows should you desire some breeze. The room had everything needed including a large fridge/freezer and a sizable ensuite. The WiFi wasn't really working on this level, however, and the "breakfast" was just instant coffee and some cake. The tourist tax which was also 600 on the official rate, I payed 1,000 for, which is definitely well over the unofficial rate; however, I've still accounted for all of the above with my rating, and the staff were all friendly and the price I paid was indeed very reasonable. I would recommend, and would stay again. "
