"We stayed 2 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on things to do and eat! The property is very historic and decor to match feels like you are stepping back in time! Our room was very spacious with a balcony which was a nice bonus. We would stay there again!"
"The office was smelly and unorganized. The staff was very nice. The motel could benefit from a very much needed renovation. My room was huge the bathroom was almost as big as the room. microwave would not open not unless you unplugged it after putting your food in for however many minutes and needed it to be in there. there were stains in the sheets which I also told the office lady about that before I even went in my room and said I needed fresh sheets but she said there was fresh sheets on the bed but obviously it wasn't and I took pictures. I can't really complain too much because you get what you pay for. I only paid $86.06 and total for the room but it just was not up to my standard because I like quality. this was not it but it was only for one night. one thing I was appreciative of is that there were no bugs."
"Cons: You have to sign out a hair dryer or ironing board and they didn’t have them available on the first day because they were signed out by others. The bed frame is very flimsy and made noise whenever you moved around in bed.
Pros: Good for the price. Clean. Easy parking. Locked lobby after hours."
"Typical old Florida motel, with nostalgic ambiance. Not very well maintained, but no real problems. Free breakfast was very limited, but eggs and sausage were cooked to order."
"If you love old florida properties like I do this is paradise. The garden and patio where breakfast is served by the pool was beautiful. The rooms were renovated and the bathroom in ours was large and comfortable. Bed was great..walking distance to downtown lake work restaurants and clubs and a 5 minute drive to the beach. No junk fees. Easy parking. Charming residential neighborhood by a fold.course. I plan to come back"
