"Really enjoyed our short stay and visiting this area. Walkable distance from the station and lake. A full Japanese-style breakfast was beautifully presented with some alternatives also on offer - fruit, eggs, bacon etc. We visited in May when the hotel and Suwa generally were very quiet so we were able to enjoy the hotel facilitie - the modern reception area and onsen. Good size room with twin beds. Go for one with a lake view if possible."

"The staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple (green salad, two egg fries, bread with butter and jam, fruits, and a pot of coffee or black tea) but delicious. "This hotel was a great little find. Very affordable and comfortable. A business hotel so they had laundry service in Japanese public bath on site. Matsumoto is a cute little town and very walkable from the hotel. Also, the hotel is literally two blocks from Matsumoto castle, a great location."
