"Nice looking rooms, comfy bed, Keurig, but not great pillows. Strangely shallow sink. The worst part was how poorly the loft rooms were insulated for noice. We weren't warned that a massive Derby party was happening in the entire hotel, and the room next to ours stayed up shouting at the top of their lungs until 11:30. We had paid to upgrade to a loft for the high floor, but you could see that the lofted ceiling allowed a crack for noise between rooms. At 9:30 the next morning we tried to check out, but the desk wasn't staffed by anyone who could work the computers. Weird! Would not recommend."

"Perfect stay at an iconic hotel. Having a drink in the 23rd floor lounge is an absolute must. Staff is polished and professional. Hope to stay there again."

"Customer service was great until staff didn’t communicate properly about the parking and when told they made a error now she had to talk to other staff and I wanted a regular room they gave me a hearing accessible room when trying to change it I was given the run around thru Expedia and request wasn’t granted cause Expedia said they couldn’t get into contact with anyone and ask for a refund and repurchase the room like how is that a good option? Overall love the hotel and hope I get my refund for parking"

"The room was very large and nice. Very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. I had trouble with the lighting. There was a master switch that had to be turned on or some of the lights wouldn’t work. Also the air conditioner was very loud but I just turned it off as the room was cold. I was not told that there would be an additional $39 parking fee added on to the room charge. This upset me. The manager seemed to think that everyone should know that you have to pay to park in a big city. I thought the motel would have a parking garage that would be included in the room cost. The manager gave me a discount since I was upset. Very kind of her."

"I had stayed at this location about 4 years prior and it was better then. They have tried to upgrade to new paint and trim and furnishings, but sometimes you just can’t hide age and poor maintenance or clientele. It mostly smelled of pot in the evening when I checked in and was the first thing I smelled when I opened the room door in the morning. The breakfast was like warm gravy with dry biscuits and no eggs. The lady in front of me grabbed the last 4 pancakes while I was waiting and she definitely didn’t need them. I had 2 small yogurts and bad coffe which I tossed outside. Overall would give a 2, but the bed and pillows were very comfortable and I pride my sleep. However, it felt like a not very safe area and would not recommend walking far at night."
