"Escarpment Luxury Lodge is a perfect stop-over for a couple of days. The place was peaceful and beautiful and served amazing relaxation and food. The staff was amazing - especially Elly! "

"As the name would imply, the hotel is located uphill from the main street of the town. The rooms were spacious and were separated by a wall, so each person had their own section. The bathroom was an issue as the toilet, sink and shower were all in the same place, so that if someone had a shower, the whole floor would get wet. The wi-fi was inconsistent but worked better in the dining area. The restaurant had minimal options and you had to order what you wanted for the evening hours beforehand. I...

"They did not have our booking(pre paid) which is understandable somewhat because they are out in the middle of no where, but there was no attempt on the staffs part to help fix the problem. we ended up leaving 1.5 hours later than we wanted and paid with a Card(got a refund from Hotels.com). the hotel needs to have better service. The refund from hotels.com was easy and service on there side great."

"Hotel only opened 2 years ago and has a lot of potential . However , it's still lacking in details. 1) the path to getvto the hotel is rough and hard to navigate , 2) the reservation system is not up to scrap and need modernisation , 3) the built suffered in storm , 4) out driver didn't revive a lunch box where we got one from every other lodge . The hotel can be great with small adjustment and attention to details "
