"Overall bad experience. Arrived for weekend stay on Friday at 330pm. Got in room and turned AC down low to get room cold. Put some perishables away in fridge for later. Then, left for evening plans and returned around midnight. Upon return room temp was 76 degrees, the AC had been turned off. Room finally cooled down enough to sleep around 2 am but then AC turned off repeatedly throughout the night causing the room to be super uncomfortable and sleep impossible. Morning came and we went to fridge to enjoy items we had in it to find the fridge was not working and all the items had spoiled. Later in the day we returned to the hotel to go use the pool and relax. There were no pool towels so I went to front desk to request some. I was told there were none clean and there were no additional towels for our room either so we were unable to use the pool. We ventured out again, ensuring the AC was turned on before leaving. We again returned around 9pm and once again found our AC off and the room was 75 this time. I returned to the desk and was handed instructions to reset the AC system and told the AC runs on motion sensors and turns off after 30 minutes of inactivity. The staff were not friendly or helpful with this situation. Essentially telling us that our complaint was not a concern to them and to get over being uncomfortable and unable to sleep. "

"The staff at Drury Inn & Suites Southwest St. Louis were one of the highlights of the property. They were very friendly and wanted to make the stay an excellent experience. For us, the location was important. This was a central location at a good value."

"I loved staying at this place!!! It's was extra clean and had luxury amenities. The staff was very nice and accommodating. This is a 5-Star hotel. It's a newly renovated old school-house turned into a hotel and it's in the cutest town about 20 miles away from the Gateway Arch in St Louis. I especially loved how the hotel kept the school-house theme throughout. The hallways have lockers with the names of classic books. School desks and a chalkboard serve as a notice board where you check where you're from. The room curtains were plaid like school uniforms. The room key is a composition book. The bathroom door is a chalk board. And so many more cute touches. The room has a refrigerator and microwave.They have coffee, tea, granola bars and muffins until 10:30am. There's also a restaurant on site. I don't see why anyone would give this place anything less than 5 stars. I would definitely stay here again."

"I arrived at hotel and met reception staff for check in. Drama starts!! I was told that since you booked through 3rd party such as expedia, you could not be,checked in. The reason being the price gave by expedia to me is what expedia trying to pay to hotelm Hotel doesnot agree with that rate. I was asked to call expedia customer service and solve the issue with them as if i negotiated rate between hotel and expedia. I was waiting in lobby and calling expedia. I was on call with expedia for 3 hours. I was not allowed to check in until i Pay the difference between what expedia paid vs theor e,pected rate. Finally, i paid difference and then allowed to check in after 3 hours. I was also told that i will not get recepit of what i paid. This is worst experience at this hotel. Room was clean and parking was,safe. After 2 days of stay, i tried to get receipt in the morning,from manager. She was kind to give the,same. I should not have to go through issues between hotel and expedia for 3 hours. This is unfair. Please think about it and decide best action."

"Horrible stay. Booked 3 nights and beds were hard as a rock. Bathroom is tiny and not vented. Staff was not helpful at all. Breakfast was typical but no plates. Had someone's scabs in our sheets and staff could careless. Won't ever stay at this hotel again. Not worth the money and staff was not helpful whatsoever!"

"Nice property in the St. Louis area! Very clean and luxurious feel to it. Very safe area as it is up in the mountains and away from the city, police department is even next door. Everything is in walking distance. Our room had a very comfortable king size bed, a couch, nice chair with foot stool, desk with computer chair, fridge and small microwave. The continental breakfast even had Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. We were only there one night so we didn't get to enjoy any of the onsite amenities. It is rated as a destination and venue for weddings, etc."
