"Nice cozy cabin and comfy bed. Very nice waitstaff in restaurant. Only one little issue; winter is almost here and some small critter was in the wall making a nest so there were noises involved…stomping on the floor made it quiet for 5 min but then the chewing/scraping/scratching started up again. Hard to sleep due to that but otherwise a very nice stay."

"Quiet luxury, set in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Art is everywhere, inspiring the mind and soul. Save time for hiking the many trails, but come back to enjoy the peace & quiet in the library. Shoulder season is a perfect time to retreat here. Relax in your room, fireplace and soaker tub to warm you up after a day on the trails. Many thanks to the team for a memorable stay, including the warm atmosphere of the pub."

"The cabin was nice and comfortable. Couldn’t get the wood fireplace going. The handle for the vent seemed to be broken. One warning: due to the closeness to the railway track, you’ll hear the train throughout the night. And the train blows its horn every time, day and night."

"Great place and a wonderful surprise. The property blends perfectly with the park atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for couples or families. Staff support was outstanding throughout the stay. The onsite restaurant is a highlight - excellent food and attentive service."
Beaverfoot Lodge

"Amazing location. We stayed in the main lodge, but there are separate cabins. The view of the nearby moutains is incredible. The lodge is off-grid, but they generate their own power. There is a river within walking distance. An artesian spring bubbles up from the parking area. The water in the area is blue from minerals. It's right in the heart of the Rockies near Golden, BC. It's well worth the visit. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager."
