"The Almont was a short walk away from Sendai Station, so very manageable with a carryon. Nearby there were many restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping areas. Air conditioner worked beautifully. Also, I used the coin-operated washer and dryer in the women's bath; 500yen for 120 minutes wash+dry. It worked well and had a passcode lock feature so you could walk away without worrying. I would definitely stay here again."

The hot springs were wonderful and the kaiseki dinners were amazing. The hotel staff members were very accommodating and gracious when dealing with a mixup about the reservation. We enjoyed the entertainment in the lobby at night. There is a convenient bus to and from Sendai station. You can purchase roundtrip tickets when you get off the bus, for a slightly discounted price. "The spa is quite far out but has accessable buses from Sendai Station. The onzen was wonderful and clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke english. Only word of caution is unless you eat at the hotel, dinner options are limited and youd have to walk into town. Still a wondeful experience and would definitely stay again if we are in the Miyagi area. "
