Enjoy a fun-filled day at Moose Mountain Falls Waterpark during your trip to Lake Geneva. Stroll along the lakeside in this relaxing area, or seek out the golf courses.
Stroll the Shore Path past historic mansions where Chicago's elite once summered, stopping for ice cream at local shops. Rent a boat to explore the crystal-clear waters or time your visit for the U.S. Mailboat Tour where 'mail jumpers' leap onto docks.
Three decent ski resorts (not Vail, but pretty good for Midwest) within 15 minute drive, great walking paths around lake, and fish fry at Mars Resort.

Lake Geneva is a great place to spend time. We loved the walking path. The beach area is nice and there's neat little shops to visit.

LG is my go to for quaint small town summer atmosphere. Fun shops, beautiful boating, beach and walking path. Season tourists are the meal ticket here and weekends takes the patience due to congested traffic's and overcrowded sidewalks

We are from the east coast and decided to try it. We were only there for a day. We drove in from Chicago just to break up our trip. The town reminds me of a small New England town, but instead of a beach, it was a lake.

Downtown Lake Geneva is a short 10 minute drive from Grand Geneva. There, you can find more dining options and shopping options as well as take a boat tour! Do it! You won't be disappointed!

Many choices of restaurants in the area, easy to get around and park. We were there in the off season with little crowds.
"Friendly reception. Great service. Gorgeous views from the private deck. Clean and safe. The hotel restaurant was closed for remodeling. Construction next door. Walkable path on the lake connects all around the lake."
"Mill Creek Hotel is the nicest place my husband and I have ever stayed in. The suite we had was absolutely beautiful Complimentary breakfasts were included as well as 24 hour coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cookies. In addition, there were treats and candy in the lobby 24 hours as well. Daily soup and crackers were set up in the lobby if guests wanted a midday tie over until dinner. The staff was wonderful and the beautiful touches throughout the hotel made us feel very special. The beautiful owner of the Hotel greeted us warmly. We casually mentioned it was our anniversary during our conversation. The next day we received a gift box of fancy chocolates. What other Hotel does this? We definitely will be returning to Mill Creek Hotel in the years to come."
"Absolutely fantastic! The bed is very very comfortable, the room is very clean and cozy, the breakfast is prepared freshly every morning. The AC was turned on before we arrived which is very appreciated in the summer. The neighborhood is safe and clean. So many things to do in the town. We had a great time! "
