"This hotel refused to do anything or make it right from a serious situation. I made two reservations on behalf of my husband who has never been to Buffalo. They solely came from out of country to attend the Sabres' playoff game because a family member plays on the team and this location's proximity to the arena seemed great. The floor they were on had two rooms full of people and over capacity. It was reported to staff that they were threatened by a guest in the hallway who was under the influence. Smoking was happening in the rooms nearby. The staff mentioned in the elevator, before my husband said anything, that they were going to tell the front desk about it. My husband has severe asthma and it deeply affected his breathing during the stay. At check out, they were told those parties were going to be evicted. The hotel has now refused to take responsibility. This establishment should be completely embarrassed for the complete lack of safety to guests. We will never return and will encourage others, including friends and family travelling to Buffalo, to never stay at this hotel."

"The location and the view were excellent. The hotel needs a lot of repair. Our room: the floor was damp, the bathroom mirror had weird burn like streaking, there was rust in the bathtub, the water pressure was excellent, the walls in the room had had paint touch-ups that did not match the rest of the paint. We were barely able to see out of the window because the seal on the window had broken and it was fogged over. The beds were firm but okay. Restaurant: the breakfast was what every other free breakfast was. Make your own waffles, fruit, eggs, sausage, yogurt, etc,,,, It was hit or miss if the restaurant was open for dinner. Hotel: We used a side door to get in and out based on where our room was. It smelled like mushrooms. Like if we were growing mushrooms. Very musty. Wallpaper was torn in the hallways, rugs were literally taped to the floor. I am sure to prevent tripping but there should be a better way. They were installing a new elevator while we were there so hopefully it means they are working on things. The view was excellent though."

"I booked several hotel rooms over a busy weekend. Half of my reservation was cancelled because the hotel had overbooked, it left us having to struggle to find another hotel - and pay double what the cost of what we had originally booked. One member of our group checked in to the Comfort Inn for a 4 night stay, but had to leave after the first night because the smell of smoke was too strong. The hotel is not a smoke free property, there is smoking in other rooms, and the smell permeates the hotel, no matter how much air freshner they spray. Do not stay here if you don't smoke, seriously."
