Friendly and clean.

Very clean and nicely maintained. Very friendly staff with online check in. Great place to say if you are doing anything on the Swanee River.

I liked that it was roomy and had a coffee maker. I liked the cafe being close. I didn't like that you had to sit sideways on the toliet because of the towel rack. The in-wall a/c unit didn't cool as well as I hoped. Overall it worked.

The room was very clean. An in room ice maker and Keurig coffee maker with coffee was also in The room. An excellent cable service was also provided. Mayo Cafe For breakfast, lunch, and dinner were right by Cindy's. We had an excellent dinner! Looking forward to staying at Cindy's again!!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean and comfortable, only complaint was that the shower was kinda small but i probably could stand to lose a few pounds as well.

Nice motel

Nice motel for our overnight stay. Did not meet any staff. They use a key locker system and office drop box but worked well for our needs. Dated motel but our room was large and updated, very clean and with a comfortable huge king bed.

Best value for the price

This is a no-frills hotel, and we booked primarily because of the low price, but we liked it well enough that we will probably return. Good: Microwave oven, in-room Keurig machine, clean room, everything working properly, new flooring in our room--not sure about the other rooms. Average: Close to highway but surprisingly not too loud, tiny bathroom (but in decent condition and clean) So-so: Loud in-wall AC unit...but it kept the room comfortable Average:

Would Stay Again

This is an awesome hotel for Mayo. (nothing against Mayo) It is not a name brand hotel, so don't be looking for too many amenities, although, they do try to make your stay comfortable. Ice machines, fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The outside shows it's age, but inside is spotless. Bed was comfortable, AC was cold (window unit), Shower was hot and had decent pressure. Depending on what time you get there, there may or may not be someone in the office, but the check-in was very easy. The only suggestiopn I would make to the staff is empty the ice maker and coffee pot after vacancy. Or at least on a regular basis. I could tell the water in the ice machine had been in there a while. Not a big deal, just poured it out and wiped it down. Over all, was worth the price for a place to sleep.

I googled hotel/Motel near MAYO correctional institution and Cindy’s motel is the first one that came up. The reviews were great and the pictures online look decent however, five minutes upon arrival as I was laying in the bed resting from a really long drive. I see something walking on the curtain. I jump up and approached the curtain to see what it was, and it was a gigantic ant probably half an inch long. I’m very aware of the fact that this is Florida and insect are everywhere. I just knew that if I saw an ant that big there was gonna be more where that came from. Th no e location of the hotel. It’s surrounded by trees and nature, which is lovely. I have a huge paranoia of bugs, crawling into the nose and ears during the night so I knew I automatically couldn’t stay there because I wouldn’t be able to sleep. I went into the restroom and as I was sitting on the toilet, I noticed the baseboards were horrifically dirty, and there was hair on the floor. Also, the hand towel that was hanging up had what looked like coffee grinds (maybe termite poop).

Way better than I expected it to be

I am an insurance adjuster that had to go to that area for work for a few days and this was the only affordable hotel available. I didn’t expect much because the pictures aren’t great online. When I pulled up, I was greeted by the maintenance man and he told me the check in process, which is contactless which was cool. I was assigned my room and I couldn’t figure out how to turn the AC on, my fault. The maintenance man was there within a minute to help me the room had a large mini fridge and microwave. There’s a Restaurant 50 feet away that’s open seven days a week. One of two in town. They give you a bunch of food for $12. The room was decently updated and the hotel. Overall, it was a whole lot nicer than I expected it to be. Is it a Hilton?, No it’s not and that’s what kind of makes it cool. There’s a Dollar General across the street which is also nice. Beautiful oak trees on the property. Large rooms, fans, decent value for sure. Probably will stay again in the next couple days.
