"Clean room. Close parking. Keep in mind this is an old building so it does have an antique feel but does not bring it down. Right in downtown. Easy to walk around town for food or just to see the area. Easy walk to the mouth of the river and to see lake Michigan. Good sights. Staff was excellent. Kind, curtious, and very helpful. "

"This building is definitely old and has some wear but that only adds to the character and charm. Even though the room was small, it had everything we needed and some extra special touches, like a chocolate left bedside and tissues on both sides of the bed. It was cozy and homey. The snack area was well stocked and had an amazing variety to choose from for a late-night bite. But the best part about the experience was breakfast served in the dining room by Julia. Each breakfast came on its own tray and so was not only delicious and plentiful but beautifully presented. I will choose this Inn again next time we are in town. "
