"The apartment was clean and the location is good. It would have been nice to have access to additional bath towels. There could be more kitchen items, like drinking glasses, there were only small juice glasses. A bread toaster would also be nice. We did appreciate the fans. For us it would have been good to know in advance that the second bedroom was upstairs. It is a lovely and clean apartment."

"My family and I had a wonderful 8 days at Villa Sal. The house was spacious, beautifully designed with every amenity. We loved that it was off the beaten path and immersed in the local village. The ability to find parking close by, small markets and the pool was an extra bonus. The house was a quick 15 minute drive to Ponta Delgado and Franco do Campo. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a true San Miguel experience. "

"Overall, the hotel was excellent. The outdoor garden was absolutely stunning — beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. Truly breathtaking. What I liked less was that the rooms feel a bit old and outdated. Also, everything at the hotel is very, very expensive — even the bottle of water in the room is pricey.
