"Really queit area with a fantastic apartment. it was large, clean and had everything we need. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. it was great.
Only thing is that it was bit far from the large supermarket but you can take uber or bolt and only cost you under 5 euro."
"It is a beautiful and scenic hotel with wonderful views that is large enough to find quiet spaces if you are an adult without kids but also seems to accommodate children very well. Breakfast is excellent and the staff at the hotel are friendly and attentive. The concierge Ines was so helpful if arranging boat excursions, dinner reservations and car rentals. The property is walking distance to town and also to many other beaches. An excellent choice for staying in this area"
"Great staff and the main pool was the main attraction. We were a group of 20 people staying in a mix of 2 bed apartments. All the rooms were good, clean and had everything you needed. We didnt need to fight for loungera in the morning but most people were quite quick to place towels.
Some of the pool area had tiles that could do we replacing and some of the bridges needed attention.
The Cool Bar by the pool was great for drinks, ice creams etc. The breakfast was always good, attentive staff. They offered various eggs too but no sign to say that so found out by seeing other peoples food. The nearby town of Carvoiero was great to visit too. Easy to get around in cabs and Ubers."
"I wasn’t sure what to expect when booking Vale da Lapa Village, but it completely blew me away. The property is stunning, the villa was spacious and comfortable, and the service was warm and welcoming. Andre checked us in and provided all the details we needed to enjoy our stay.
We booked the half-board option, not realizing it included both breakfast and dinner—what an amazing surprise! The food was delicious, and while service at the restaurant was on the slower side (possibly cultural differences), the staff was always friendly.
We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom villa, and it was perfect for our family of four—plenty of room to spread out. I only wish we had more time to relax and enjoy the property itself. The grounds were beautifully maintained, though I’d love to see some additional pathways through the center of the resort to make getting around easier.
The beds were quite firm, which didn’t bother me but might not be for everyone. On our last day, we noticed a few ants around the kitchen sink—possibly due to pouring soda down the drain—but overall, the villa was very clean and well-kept. The metal shutters on all windows and patio doors were unexpected but seemed to help with security, light, and sound.
A car or Uber is definitely needed to get around, but the peaceful setting made it all worth it. Out of the three places we stayed during our trip, this was hands-down the favorite for our whole family."
