Good place to stay.

Had to change plans at the last minute due to a traffic diversion and booked this late after and arrived at the premises in the dark. Staff were accommodating and couldn’t have been more helpful. Good food and a great location. Would love to come back and explore the area some more. A nice remote and quiet location in a lovely village up a dead end valley.

We parked down the road in main parking lot and walked up to the hotel. Staff was polite and answered our questions about hiking the National park - letting us know we had to go to Boi to get a taxi to the park. (We chose to drive to the park and parked in the lot just outside the entrance and started the hike from there.) We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and the food was ver6 tasty. It was a beautiful quiet area around the hotel but if you want amenities, they’re not here.

Disappointed. Tiny dark room, only a velux.Glad I did not choose the "economy" room...can only imagine. Thought the place was overpriced and underdelivered. Restaurant closed midweek so no comment on food but had to search elsewhere. ...and will search elsewhere for hotel next time.

Muy bien pero caro

Todo muy bien, comida, limpieza, amabilidad, lo único es el precio, un poco excesivo, no estaba la opción habitación + desayuno o media pensión y luego te clavaban, para ser un hostal aunque estaba muy bien 170€ una noche 4 personas lo encontré caro.

Incredible location, super cute hotel, in the cutest town in the valley. The proprietor, Xavier, was incredibly helpful and kind. We loved our rooms, which were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Everything worked beautifully. Future guests should be aware that there is no elevator and that smoking is allowed in the rooms. We will absolutely be back to Vall de Boi and when we do, we will stay at Hostal La Placa!

Alojamiento ideal en el valle de Boí

Hotel familiar, muy tranquilo,en un emplazamiento precioso. Habitaciones renovadas. Buena comida. Terraza y pequeño jardín con vistas al valle súperagradables. Muy buena atención por parte de los dueños y de todo el personal. Magnifica vista de la iglesia rómanica. Nuestra habitación en el segundo y último piso, un poco calurosa, pero abriendo la ventana al ponerse el sol se solucionaba. Muy recomendable!!

Sweet hotel in a excellent location

Erittäin miellyttävä hotelli mahtavalla näköalalla ja vielä täydellisessä paikassa. Henkilökunta äärimmäisen mukavaa ja palveluhaluista. Hotellin sijainti toimii erittäin hyvin päiväretkiin esim. Aigüestortes i Estany of Saint Maurici -kansallispuistoon. Sweet hotel in a perfect location! The staff was super friendly and did everything to make our vacation as relaxed as possible. We even got the best table for every single dinner! The terrace view is breathtaking. Surrounding areas (e.g. the Aigüestortes i Estany of Saint Maurici National Park) are amazingly beautiful and very easily accessible from the hotel's location. Could not have asked for more, would definitely book again!

Acertado y encantador

La verdad es que en general todo muy bien; servicio, alojamiento, limpieza..., elegimos este hostal por las opiniones de otros clientes y con las reticencias lógicas de hacer caso a comentarios de las RRSS, pero nos a sorprendido gratamente. Una elección muy acertada. Si tuviéramos que poner alguna pequeña pega, sería el wifi en las habitaciones, la señal es muy débil y se pierde. Pero insistimos, recomendamos de muy buena gana!.

A nice quiet location

A lovely quiet location. A comfortable room. Nice food for dinner. An excellent base for exploring the western side of the Aigüestortes y Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.
