A good option in La Tuque

We stayed one night only but we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. the food at the restaurant was good and we appreciated that we did not need to go out for dinner

Room was clean. Could use a boost to decorate it nicer. Even just a picture or two on the walls would help. Felt "sterile"

Staff are very friendly, rooms are very clean, property is pet friendly and lots of quiet area to walk the dogs. Not in walking distance to shopping or food but only a few car ride away from those things.

It IS renovated nice bathroom. The furniture worked well. Staff very nice. Air conditioning was amazing, it was really warm that week. They would need to mop the floors more but clean otherwise. Freezer door would open half way due to an accumulation of ice, I fixed it and was very very grateful there was a freezer.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Bed was comfortable, shower was good. Chair with the desk would collapse to its lowest setting every time I sat in it despite putting in at the highest setting several times and ensuring nothing was blocked, needs replacing. Armchair in the room very uncomfortable, no cushioning at all in the old cushion just sitting on some hard base material which cracked and creaked, again needs replacing. Some outside noise from quite a few people sitting outside their rooms chatting and smoking, they were quiet not long after 10pm, so not an issue for sleeping, luckily none were smoking near my room, so the stink didn’t come in. Airconditioning an old unit in the wall which needed rotating to an unknown setting to cool. Various symbols with no instructions as to what they meant! Pity it wasn’t just controlled by the fairly new looking thermostat display in the room.
