"Lovely hotel on the edge of the town right by the river was a festival going on when we were staying lovely little town to walk around food was fantastic at the floating restaurant opposite the hotel"

"Good base near the centre of Perigueux. Welcoming staff and great for a stop over. The breakfast selection was however basic and pricey."

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."

"Fantastic hosts who are friendly, easy going and lovely to chat to! Spacious and spotless room. We were getting ready for a wedding and it was perfect. Breakfast had everything you need with locally sourced produce. The space in the garden is relaxing and beautifully maintained. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you Nicky and Paul. "

"Returned to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary just for one night. Although rooms are quite basic in decoration, the chateau is incredible and the dinner was exceptional. We loved it and will definitely return again. "
