This is a grest hotel with fantastic facilities at a budget price. It was a pity we were only hers for one night on way to the ferry. We plan to return for a longer stay and use as a base to tour local area

Lovely hotel, no lift was a problem getting our cases to the 2nd floor, also, the beams in the roof were too low and not enough room to stand in the shower; also no kettle in room but free tea and coffee available in reception. Overall very clean and lovely beds and also very nice staff 🙂

Lovely Location

We stayed here for one night as a stopover. The location is fabulous offering views of the beautiful estuary. Plenty of parking, a nice bar/restaurant area and the rooms were spacious and comfortable (but could do with new carpet). The staff were super friendly and helpful, put up with my terrible French and spoke very good English. This is a very pretty seaside area and, as a bonus, the beautiful town of St Malo is just 10 minute drive away.

Location is convenient being 5-10 mins drive to restaurants and beaches. Staff friendly and helpful. Only downside is the limited food availability in the evening with no real restaurant but plenty around as mentioned.

Room disappointing,great breakfast,friendly staff

Friendly staff and lots of parking. Top room was under the roof/eaves (and unless you are very very short) it is very easy to knock your head on the ceiling ...same in the shower, makes it difficult to shower. Room not very big and looks out on the big road, very noisy. 24hour reception meant no fear of being unable to check in if the ferry was arriving late. Overall, disappointing due to the room. Great breakfast and friendly staff .

On arrival we were offerred a room on the 2nd Floor - we found this to be in he eaves of the building (sloping ceiling) which meant that the shower was set at about 1.70m max height - too low for comfort foran average sized man. We exchanged rooms without out any problem for one on the First Floor (so we didn't have that problem to contend with) however once again the size of the bathroom (floor area) meant that I had to squeeze my back against the sink to enable the door to be opened. The toilet is tight against the wall leaving little room for comfort or manoeuvre. No a/c or fan on a hot evening in a small bedroom!
