"Solid stay. We had our small dog with us so the room we were placed in didn’t feel like it was the cleanest (though we’re used to that being the case when we travel with our pet). There was a funky smell upon entering the room; we eventually got used to it, and couldn’t detect it over time. It felt like we needed to keep shoes on inside bc of the state of the floors and carpets (looked to be vacuumed regularly but they definitely needed a deep clean and I’m not sure if that happens frequently enough- we initially had socks on and they turned dark and dirty right away). Overall though, it was a great room to stay in with older kids- two spaces to relax/ spread out and useful to have the little kitchenette and dining space. We had hoped to take a dip in the pool in the afternoon but it was not heated and was ice cold so we decided against it after getting there and realizing. We definitely enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet, the offerings were substantial and there was enough variety that every family member was able to fill up based on their preferences."

"If you are looking for a quiet, romantic getaway this is it. It was 100 degrees and I had the pool to myself. The lake was calm and the sound of the birds reminded me that I was far enough away from the city. Staff was attentive and I was pleased with the restaurant and the complementary breakfast was laid out like a feast. We were a short drive from town, and all the golf courses nearby were perfect for my husband. We really enjoyed our stay! And the welcoming glass of champagne was a nice surprise. We stayed n a supreme room and it was large enough to make me feel like I was in a luxury Chateau. Beautiful French doors leading to a balcony overlooking the lake. It was quiet and relaxing throughout our stay. We will be back."

"Breakfast here is always amazing they have such a Great buffet. The suites are always very nice and comfortable, this is a nice hotel. The only complaint I have this time is that kids were screaming ENDLESSLY at the pool and I was trying to do conference calls. I called to the front desk and they said they would take care of it but they didn't appear to do anything! The screaming continued for HOURS. I finally gave up on working at the hotel and switched to a different hotel's lobby pretty sad when you pay for a hotel but have to go to another hotel to get your work done! Not too pleased about that but I will definitely request a not poolside room next time!! I have stayed here many times and that was never a problem in the past so I'm pretty disappointed that it was so out of control this time. I understand kids being jubilant but really for 2 hours on end?? That's totally disrespectful to the rest of the hotel guests"
