"The hotel is fantastic, with so much to do and amazing service, food and drinks. The staff go out of their way to make the experience very special. We enjoyed brilliant exercise classes and facilitated games for the kids. Everyone had such fun! The food was brilliant and they catered superbly for allergies. Nice to have the choice of the a la carte as well as the buffet. Rooms do need a refresh which is planned for September. Overall a fabulous hotel for a very special holiday. "

"This was the most amazing stay I've ever had. The property has the best views, great paid breakfast, parking, privacy, and the staff was helpful when we needed accommodations. My wife and I had rented a very small Toyota and had no issues getting through town or up the hill to the property. Room service is available upon request and the ladies did a great job when we requested cleaning. Beach towels are provided and you can ask for new towels anytime. The staff helped us book a reservation at Treetop Restaurant that's just up the hill. The pool was clean and also had a great view. In the evenings, a polite and friendly security guard either sits in his booth or roams the property. He's always nearby, but didn't come super close to our room or balcony. Wifi was good, but we had some lagging when streaming. A/C runs great. We kept it at 64 F at night. We used the kitchen area a couple times through the week and had no issues. The stove, pans, microwave, fridge/freezer, and sink were very nice. It'll be hard to beat this property on any vacation in the future."

Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, but two individuals in particular deserve special recognition :) Darelyne, the manager, was an absolute delight. Her sweet, warm, and genuinely pleasant demeanor made every interaction feel personal and heartfelt. Her care and attention made us feel truly valued as guests. It’s rare to meet someone in hospitality who radiates such kindness while maintaining impeccable professionalism — she is a true gem. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. James, who surprised us with an incredible upgrade at no additional cost. This thoughtful gesture elevated our experience and allowed us to enjoy the beauty of Sugar Beach in an even more special way. His friendly approach and commitment to guest satisfaction are a perfect example of what makes this resort so exceptional. Between the breathtaking scenery, luxurious accommodations and villas, and staff who treat you like family, Sugar Beach Viceroy delivers an experience that is nothing short of world-class. "My husband and I got married here and stayed for a week as well back in April of this year. This resort exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The staff here are absolutely amazing. Valna and Katrina helped with our stay and our wedding. Everything went extremely smooth and they checked in on us every step of the way. The restaurant staff took the time to remember our names and treated us like family. The food was outstanding as well. They have security at the front of the resort so you are safe here. A short walk to the reception area and they will help plan whatever activity you want to do and arrange a taxi. The rooms were kept extremely clean and you have netting around your bed in case you’re worried about bugs. However we didn’t have any issues with insects whatsoever. Lizards you will see everywhere but they’re harmless! We’re already planning a trip back!"

"What an island and what a place to stay! Villa Beach Cottages is one of the most pleasant places we've stayed - all-inclusive/its relatives are not our thing. We are looking for home base, which led us here. This was such an amazing find. The cottage was clean with a well stocked kitchen we took advantage of numerous times (Massy Supermarket is .5 miles south). We have zero complaints about the lovely room or its sufficient provisions. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Look at the pictures of the beach. This place is amazing because of its people. We like family owned places because they treat you like guests of the family and take care of anything you need. Set up a roundtrip taxi to Gros Piton the evening before? Done (if you need a taxi, ask them to get Claudius for you if he's available, he's awesome). Dinner reservations in a couple hours? Easy. Make it an hour earlier just because the kids are hungry? Yeah, they took care of that too. The best advice for doing local things the right way? Can't beat this front desk. We primarily dealt with Nicole and Shareesa (I am embarrassed that I might be doing a disservice to one or both spellings), but everyone we came across was wonderful - the kind of people you want to tell about your day. Adela, chef at the restaurant, is one of the sweetest people we've met. Her food is some of the savoriest we've had. Let's not forget Colin, the GM. A good soul with the gift of conversation. We'll be back!"
