"Just a 1-night stay, but the front desk was very accommodating and the on-site (Italian) restaurant was wonderful!"

"The grounds are beautiful. The pool area is so lovely with all the palm trees. Nice pool bar and seating. We stayed in one of the historic rooms. It was large and beautiful with old tiles. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. Staff were good. "

"Rooms are comfortable but very outdated. Bathroom shower heads need to be replaced and hot water takes atleast 10 minutes to come out. The staff at the breakfast buffet is extremely rude and can’t even say good morning. I had an employee ask me for money just because I asked him to remove the pulp from my orange juice. Front desk reception personnel are also rude and not trained correctly to take care of the foreigners. I’ve stayed here many times but I will no longer recommend it to anyone. "

"Clean and great location "

"Found a roach in our room within about 5 minutes of being thetr. Immediately went to the front desk to get a refund on the room wirh the dead roach in hand and even have a photo of said roach as well. The front desk person seemed apologetic but said we had to call expedia for the refund. I was not in the mood to play games so we simply checked out about 10 minutes after being there at that point. We then went to the Radisson in Barranquilla, which is a fantastic hotel and I definitely recommend sraying there. I will wait for the snarky manager comment on this one. But my Girlfriend is colombian and said there was absolutely no point in trying to get my money back because the hotel would make an excuse or lean on some policy in order to not refund me. I'll wait."
