"Hotel is nice but didn’t quite meet my expectations.
Pros:
-As imagined, the rooms are set up glamping style which felt a bit more private and I appreciated that.
-We had two double beds that were comfortable (we had actually requested a single).
-The hotel location is great! It’s on a very cute and busy street filled with restaurants and shops. It is only a couple of blocks away from the City Center and Cathedral while also being close to the Boardwalk and Beach.
-Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons:
-I felt a bit deceived by the room. Compared to the pictures I had seen online, I expected the room to be more modern and crisp. The furniture in our room was antique/dated but I think this is the look they were going for.
-The bathroom was “cool” but not practical. The sink utilized a thin metal spout that sprayed everywhere when trying to use. We also had a rainfall shower head, but the majority of the holes were clogged and very little water came out and sprayed in different directions.
-Every evening/night there were groups of people hanging out and drinking, right outside of the hotel. We luckily didn’t encounter any issues but it was a bit weird and awkward.
Overall, the hotel is good but could use some improvement.
