"We are both senior citizens. We checked into the Hampton later in the evening and were assigned room 207. We got to our room and there was a loud horrible noise coming from the HVAC unit. We went to the thermostat and discovered the noise was the fan. I went to the phone to call the front desk only to discover the phone was inoperative. I went down stairs to ask if they had a maintenance person and was told no. After explaining the problems she replied she thought it had been fixed which indicated to me they were seated of the problem. I asked to be moved but she said there were no other rooms available. That room should have NEVER been rented under those circumstances. We should not have had to pay for that room!!"
