La Jolla Village hotel rooms a the Motel 6

"Very noisy, had to move at midnight to another room because they could not silence the noise of the next room. you can hear everything through the walls. To their credit, they did refund me the parking fee. I would not stay there unless it is the only one available."

"Room was comfortable and clean. Had a wonderful view of the cruise ship in the morning. Everything was super walkable, perfect location!"

"Decent hotel. It is not modern but it is clean. Rooms have balconies although a few are very small and don’t necessarily get the sun. I had a bay view room and had a great view of the sunrise each morning. Staff friendly. It is quite a walk to the nearest shop but there are several good restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance. I was relying on public transport and managed ok although you do need to get into the centre or the old town to make a connection. There are minimal buses operating in this area on weekends which narrows down connection opportunities. There is a fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. Some coffee is provided in the room but no milk - just powdered creamer. Free coffee is available in reception each morning."
