"Volcano lounge was the first time experience from the water hot thermals the staff was excellent. The food was good and very exotic plants with animals all around which I really enjoyed."

"Baldi Hot Springs in La Fortuna delivers a decent, middle‑of‑the‑road experience, but it doesn’t quite reach the wow factor many travelers expect. The property is undeniably beautiful, with lush landscaping and a wide variety of thermal pools to explore. The water temperatures are enjoyable, though some pools feel more like warm baths than true hot springs. If you book one of the suites at the top of the property, be ready for a steep 1/4‑mile uphill walk, which can get old fast after a long day of activities. The rooms themselves are spacious, but the location makes quick trips back and forth a bit inconvenient. The food and bar service are fine, though nothing particularly memorable. The atmosphere is lively and family‑friendly, which is great unless you’re seeking a quiet, spa‑like retreat. One thing that stands out—in a strange way—is their checkout process, where they won’t let you leave until someone inspects your room for missing items. It’s not a huge deal, but it feels awkward and unnecessarily suspicious. Overall, Baldi is okay, especially if you want lots of pools and a resort vibe, but it’s not the strongest value in La Fortuna."

"The Hotel Arenal Observatory is a privilege location at the bottom of the Arenal Volcano.Not other hotel in the area can beat this. Besides the trails are for everyone and the views are gorgeous. All the staff are so helpful,polite and with the intention and great desire for us to know their country.We will come back, hopefully in the near future with other members of our family. I will highly recommend this hotel if you want to reconnect with nature, feel peace, breath clean air and just feel peace surrounded by the multi diversity of fauna and flora of this magical place.."
