The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The location is good: easy in and out from the highway, yet quiet, in a rural setting. We had an accessible room, and the shower had a built-in seat, which I appreciated. We've stayed there before, and always found it to be a great place to stay.

It is wonderful to support a good small town motel, that is clean and comfortable, and quiet, and walk in patio doors from the parking lot.

Booked 3 hrs before stay. Was efficient check in. The property was older but very clean. Liked having the availability of a patio door to put my belongings in the room from the car. Note to make reservation at supper club next door if planning to eat there (not associated with hotel).

Loved my stay at Old Towne! The restaurant next door was classic and delectable. The rooms and view gave a rural homey feel with the silos from the farm next door. The only thing I would change is having bathtubs instead of showers in the rooms, but the place had so many other redeemable qualities that it is not a big deal. Complimentary morning beverages in the lobby (coffee, hot cocoa).

The room was clean, however a little rundown. The shower curtain rod had paint chipping off into the shower, the TV did not work and the heat was turned off when we got there. It was listed as a family owned hotel, so I could overlook these items as we weren’t there long as was in town visiting for Christmas. The staff was rude, lied to my family members about what they were told at check-in. Three families checked in and none of them were given the information that you needed to pay an additional fee for pets and that it needed to be in cash. It’s not about the money as we were more than willing to pay that. It was about the way we were treated and poor customer service and not listening.

Give it a try

For a not mainstream motel it was nice. Price was right, service was good, it was clean. I'd stay again.
