"The hotel I would describe as average. A little outdated and the hallway was decorated in a really dark wallpaper which made it very dark and dismal.. The room was ok and the bed comfortable. The grouting in the bathroom was a bit black and mouldy. The lighting in the room needs to be improved as it was also very dark. The receptionist explained everything and we didn't have any problems."

"There was nobody on reception when we arrived on reception at approximately 3:30 p.m. We then realised that we had to pick a telephone up on the reception desk that rang somebody. A grumpy lady then came to check us in. The restaurant staff were lovely and helpful and the gentleman we paid was very helpful. The hotel is old and needs freshening up. It looks dirty and run down on the landings"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à La Brocherie. Le lieu est calme, plein de charme, avec un spa complet (piscine chauffée, sauna, fauteuil massant) parfait pour se détendre. "The staff were lovely but the condition of the 1st floor was horrible. It smelled of urine & cigarettes. The room looked clean but the smell was horrible & the door had no safety locks. I slept in my clothes & changed to shower & add fresh clothes before leaving. My 13 year old grandson asked if it was a hostel. I paid for 2 nights but we did not return & got a room in another place. "
