"Disgusted. Arrived after a 1000km drive hoping to relax for the onward journey the next day. It looked like entering a war zone. The pictures show what was the restaurant and bar. The hotel is situated on Business Park ensured there would be no amenities close by. Room was Ibis usual standard, ok. Woken at 7.15am with a JCB starting work 2 metres from our door. "One of the loveliest stays we have experienced in a unique place. The peniche is exquisite and cosy. Some people might not like sharing the common spaces with other guests. However, we had the place to ourselves 2 nights in a row and met lovely people at the breakfast table. A place like no others.
