"Nice hotel. Happy hour at the bar, $6 beers, cant go wrong. Clean and modern place. Right in the guts of surfers so plenty of shopping and dining options. Carpark available in basement for a fee. "

"The resort was great…beautiful view and great apartment. My only “complaint” would concern the check in. We were not given great information on how to check in when we arrived with our rental car so didn’t know the easiest place to park for check in. There was a lot of construction around the property and little room for error."

"This hotel is a good place to stay for the kids with all the activities and facilities for them to use. We stayed for 3 nights and it was fine, but by no means luxurious. The resort is in need of a major renovation, the age of it really shows. The rooms were basic, and clean. Food prices were quite high for what you got but could also just be what things cost now (e.g. $25 for a basic continental breakfast buffet with additional fees for hot food, could not take things from the buffet yourself, had to ask the staff behind the counter for each slice of bread - I get why they do it to prevent kids from touching all the food, but its also a bit annoying). Cocktails were around the $22 mark. While they have QR codes around the pool area to order, you have to get up to pick up food and drinks from the cafe (they send you a text message). All that said, the kids enjoyed themselves and thats who this resort caters to. However it's not particularly pram friendly without having to walk all around the place. I would say everything was okay, not bad but also not great."

"I initially was booked for 4 days, but I added a day. The concierge staff was very friendly and cordial. They supplied with extra towels, soaps/shampoos, and laundry detergent. The view was well worth staying a the Meriton. I had issues with the room safe, but they eventually fixed it. Great location and the mini kitchen and fridge were nice. Also enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub as well as the indoor pool."

"That Hotel is definitely not a 5 start hotel, its more like a 3 star, and the cleanliness is terrible."

"I checked in went to the room, went back to reception and told them I couldn’t stay as the room was horrible, they said they would return my money but I need to contact Expedia to inform them and have my money returned. Do not stay here, don’t waste your money."

"We did eat in but yes the ocean view was beautiful "
