"Fantastic customer service by Constance & her front desk colleague - was impressed with efficient smiling booking in; smooth flow of information sheet, parking & rm location to entrances to hotel, buffet, bar & verified payment & rm keys within 10 mins. Room excellent, had issues with Netfix as it cldnt log on but was given complimentary drinks which satisfied my concerns for my stay. Was offered a rm with operating Netfix but as the service was awesome just was happy to settle in. Will be back & will let friends, colleagues & family know abt this gem in Mermaid Waters Gold Coast. Thanks to Constance & colleague for making our stay fantastic 😃 :)"

Spacious Pillows were appalling Lounge chairs dirty Lounge uncomfortable Shave hairs in basin on arrival Told cleaners were coming one day and didn’t turn up to next Staff were not friendly and didn’t look up and acknowledge you when you entered Lift or garbage shaft whistled all night with high pitch as wind ran through it"

"I always enjoy staying at Mercure when I'm back down on the Gold Coast. The service was friendly at the Bar area. One disappointing thing was the Buffet Breakfast. The quality of the food was poor and the price too high compared to what I experience at other hotels."

"This place is an easy stay everytime, so peaceful and clean. It was pouring rain this time but we could easily get on the bus right out the front or eat at the club without even going outside. Have stayed multiple times never any issues. We did have a back side of the building room this time overlooking Tweed rather than Coolangatta but worked out to be the perfect location to watch the ANZAC Day dawn service from the balcony. Staff are always lovely and accommodating."

"Room description was completely inaccurate and paid for beach view - no beach view not even partial view. Facility response was the responsibility was the booking through 3rd party. Staff were polite. Room was small but clean. Very specifically wanted a beach view and very disappointed."
